How do you display a Page ID on a page using the cloud version?

hjewell March 25, 2019

Hello,

We're looking to be able to display the Page ID on each confluence page that's created within a certain space. We're using the cloud version of Confluence and would like to avoid paying the cost for plug-in's.

Thank you,

Heather

Heather,

Thank you for reaching out on Community! Happy to answer your question.

In Confluence Cloud, if you want to accomplish something that is scripted like this, then you have to use an add-on, because the other alternative, User Macros, are not possible in Cloud.

You can see an example of what that User Macro would look like in server, here:

Otherwise, you do indeed need to use an add-on, such as QC Documents for Confluence Cloud. I'm not aware of any other workarounds for this functionality.

Let me know if you have any questions about this.

Regards,

Shannon
