How do I setup a table in Confluence so that it easily syncs to Jira when creating issues?

Hi!
I have recently been trialing the functionality of capturing workflow items in a Confluence table for the purpose of syncing to Jira via the "create issue" functionality. See the image below.Screenshot 2023-10-06 at 2.17.57 pm.png

Can you please advise if the functionality is built for the following:

  • Sync assignee to Jira issue when created (please note that summary, description and epic link all were automatically created on the issue)
  • Sync due date to Jira issue when created
  • Sync multiple different epic links to Jira when created. Functionality seems to only pick up one epic link to sync too unless in separate tables.

Any guides/tips would be appreciated.

Thank you!

Hi @Sarah Walwyn welcome to the Atlassian community.

I believe, the Confluence to Jira sync functionality does not support syncing multiple epic links to a Jira issue when it is created.

However, you may have to try the 'Jira Automation for Confluence' and let us know how it worked.
