How do I prevent all public spaces being accessed from the global menu?

We have several spaces that we would like to make public for our clients by allowing anonymous access, but we do not want each client to be able to access each other's spaces from the global menu. Is there a way to prevent all spaces being listed / accessible from within the global menu?

@Louise Hitchings There is not a way to do this through the delivered product.  There are some apps that allow you to make adjustments to the theme that allow you to do this. Here are the ones I know of:
