How do I add an iframe to a confluence page?

Romeo Soebrati March 28, 2023

I use Confluence cloud and I'm trying to embed a YouTube video to a Confluence page by adding an iframe. In the iframe settings window I am supposed to insert the URL for the webpage I want to embed. Unfortunately, when I do this it shows up as "broken". Wondering if I need to make adjustments as an admin to allow for embedding an iframe?

Hi @Romeo Soebrati simply paste the YouTube video URL onto your page instead of using the iframe macro. Then click the URL and select the Embed option to have the video embedded into the page. If at first you don't see the Embed option, click the Card option, then click the card and the Embed option should be visible.

I created this gif to demonstrate.
