How do I add additional heading levels to a TOC?

Umal Nasir February 12, 2020

Hi Community,

I am building a structure table on a Confluence wikipage and I need around 8-10 heading levels in my table of contents so that it automatically updates to the right indentations.

Currently there are only 6 heading levels, its not going beyond that and changing the maximum heading levels to 10 in the TOC options does not work (see below):

Hi @Umal Nasir

As long as I know, HTML supports just 6 headings. Therefore, Confluence does support these headings and not more.

I don't think it is possible to define more headings.

Regards,

Dominic
