How could I change a alphabet bullet point to numeric bullet point?

Jeon Seongbae May 28, 2024

I'm trying to create a step-by-step guide.

However, when I apply the numerical bullet point under the symbol bullet point, it only shows the alphabet sequential bullet point. (Instead of 1. 2. 3. ,,, only shows a. b. c. ,,,)

How could I change the alphabet sequential bullet point into a numerical bullet point?

I tried to show it with the "Ask a question" editor, but it shows 1. 2. 3. ,,, well.

Hello @Jeon Seongbae

Please use the wiki markup from the insert option of the editor and add the markup of the bullet list as I have shown in the screenshot it should do the work for you.

To insert markdown in the editor:

  1. Choose Insert > Markup
  2. Select Markdown
  3. Type or paste your text - the preview will show you how it will appear on your page
  4. Choose Insert.

Here is the ref document --> https://confluence.atlassian.com/conf85/confluence-wiki-markup-1283360005.html

Thanks,

Tushar

Hi Tushar,

Thanks for the detailed explanation. I believe I would need your guide in the future.

However, currently I'm using the cloud version and it seems like there is no wiki markup function in cloud version.

Thanks.
