How can I set limitations; one user to edit Excel file at a time

Ilkka Keränen September 24, 2012

I m sharing an Excel file for dozens of users to edit in confluence. Problem evolves when two user edit the file at a same time. When this happens the other users updates will fanish when the latter one saves his own modifications. Is there a way to set limitation for simultaneuos user count for a attachement?

Not really.

Confluence is not a document management system, or a source-control system. Attachments are a convenience and the tracking/locking functions around them simply aren't that sophisticated.
