How can I make an embedded database entry respect the fields hidden in a view?

In my database, I've created a view that displays only a small subset of fields -- let's call the view "Most Important Fields". In my Confluence page want to create an embedded database that displays a single entry from my database, but only those fields that are included in my "Most Important Fields" view.

The Embed Database modal allows me to select my database, then the view, and then a single entry. But when the Embedded Database is rendered on my page, all fields are displayed -- not only those in my view.

Is it possible for an Embed Database to honor the settings of a single view when displaying a single entry?1-all-entries.png2-view-selected.png3-entry-selected.png4-rendered.png

As far as I know that's not currently possible, but this would be a fantastic feature for the database entry embeds! Being able to select specific fields to show would reduce clutter, especially when Atlassian finally gets around to offering the ability to use the entry embeds in Templates (and they really need to implement this before they can consider Databases fully functional).

Thanks for confirming! Adding the database embed to a Template is exactly where I want to go, so yeah, I agree – being able to add to a Template will make a huge difference here.
