How can I customize the Dashboard with a navigation bar, library, pictures, etc;

Question

We are looking to turn our Confluence into our global organization knowledge base, but to do this the Dashboard page needs to serve as a homepage to our team spaces.

I want to know if it is possible to add a navigation bar to the left side of our dashboard, mimicking the spaces.

Basically, we have chosen Confluence over SharePoint for it's ease of collaboration but we need to make our "home page", per say, look like a SharePoint page.

You cannot customize the dashboard for the cloud offering. But you could make a new page and set it as the global home page. On that page you could do whatever you want.
