I created my first template and set the audience to only myself to test it out. Now I've fleshed it out and want to reset the audience to a wider group. How can I do that?
@sheree_goldstein Welcome to the Atlassian community.
How did you set permissions on your template? I don't know of any way to do this. The instructions for creating a template only have suggestions for how to make it easier for other users to find the template: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-a-template/
Did you instead create a page that you now want to use as a template? If so, you need to create a template using the instructions and you can copy the content from your page to it.
Or are you using a third-party formatting app and creating a template with that? The documentation for the app should provide the information you need.
No, I created it in Confluence through the site settings for templates. The first thing it did was ask me for the audience. I set it to myself only, figuring it would be easy to change later. Now I can't find a way to change it.

So did you use the instructions on this page: https://support.atlassian.com/confluence-cloud/docs/create-a-global-template/ ?
When I tried this, it did not ask me about the audience—the UI was the same as when I create a new page template within a space. I can't find anything in the Confluence documentation about setting the audience or permissions for the template.
Maybe someone will chime in with more information.
