Hide-Elements Macro: last version not compatible with functionalities in Confluence 5.9.x an 5.10.x

Volker Weinreich July 14, 2016

Hi,

on pages where the macro is placed the confluence header is not fixed and the page data (breadcrumbs, restrictions, and attachments) and tools don't appear as soon as you start to scroll up.

This seems to be a bug.

Best,

Volker

Hi Volker,

thank you very much for this report.
The Hide-Elements Macro generates a <style/> tag and adds it to the HTML of the page. Unfortunately this is one of the things Confluence detects to deactivate the new fixed toolbar feature. According to Atlassian this is not a bug but "by design", because there were a lot of problems with the new toolbar and custom css.
I will find a fix and release a new version asap, but at the moment I'm unfortunately pretty busy.

Best regards

Johannes

Hi Johannes,

thank you for the new release with compatibility with the new dynamic top bar and for your thanks with mentioning my name in the release notes.

Best,

Volker
