Hide BlogPosts/Pages from administrators in confluence

Tim Schmidt January 16, 2014

Hey,

is it possible for users to make their blog-entries or pages only available for a specific group of users excluding the confluence-administrators?

The theory is that the admin should be able to see that there is a blog-entry but can't access to the content (only the titel).

Thanks for help!

Hi Tim,

By creating a restricted page to a certain group or individuals you'll be able to restrict it from confluence-admistrators but you can't just restrict the content and make the title visible. The whole page won't be available. Also, you can select who can see it, but not who can't.

Give it a try by going to Tools, Restrictions.

Cheers!

I believe however, that an administartor could override these restrictions if they really wanted to.

Thanks!

Is there a similar funktion for blog-posts?
