Is there a way to edit the default space permissions for Guest users?
Under the headline "Guests have different default space permissions" they list the default space permissions but no way to actually edit the default space permissions for guest.
It is not possible to edit the default space permission setting for guests. There is open feature request for same https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-76845, you may want to vote for it.
Hope it helps.

thank you for that update. Could you provide some more information, such as a link to the documentation?
(Because this page (What can guests see and do in Confluence? | Confluence Cloud | Atlassian Support) does not mentionen it (yet?).
Thank you,
Chris

Oh, @Christian Schneider and remember that a guest can only access a single Space. That is one of the limitations.
