Getting Errors in Automation rule even it is executing correctly

Hello,

I have a automation rule setup which asks a reason when i transist the issue to cancelled and adds the entered reason in the comment.

The execution of automation rule is correct as expected, but still i am getting the errors in the audit log of the automaton rule

I am getting error as shown in the below picture

Please provide the suggestions to resolve this error

Note : even if iam, getting this error the execution of automation is correct.

Hi, @Sunilkumar K. Please add the "Change reason" field on the edit issue screen to fix this error.

Hi @Manoj Gangwar , Iam actually creating another screen which popsup when the automation run but still iam getting the error in Automation, i have tried adding it in edit-issue also but still iam facing the same issue

Note : I have two jira instances in one instance iam not getting any error with same automation in another instance iam getting this error even my execution is as required.

I have one question if the Automation is called many time is there any chance of getting these type of errors ?

• Yes, if automation is running many times and a particular issues doesn't have change reason field in that case it will show this error.
