Looking to add some formatting to an expand section for my team to make an expand selection more visible. Instead of a white background with blue font, I was hoping to have a gray background when it is collapsed, similar appearance to the heading row of a table.
Is this possible? Please include a step by step how to if so, thanks!
Hello @Maicen Young !
Currently, there are no formatting options that allow you to achieve the objective that you need. Here is our documentation on the macro:
What you could do to achieve a similar result is to insert the expand inside a table header cell:
In Edit mode:
In view mode
Doing this will render a gray background while the Expand is collapsed. Hope this helps! Looking forward to your reply.

You might also consider UI Expand Macro, part of the Refined Theme for Confluence. It includes a suite of enhance macros that provide a bit more flexibility. Interestingly the default for their expand macro happens to be with a gray background as you described.
