Using the look and feel customisations, I can add header and footer content to all pages in a space.

When viewing a page in a space through the public link, the footer is not displayed.

How can I make my footer show up?

Hi @Rich Wilson and welcome to the Community.

You can make the whole space available for Anonymous viewing in Permissions, then those elements should be visible.

Or you can use one of the apps that de-Confluencize your Confluence space.

If you wanna keep your space private, I recommend Scroll Viewport by K15t and offers CSS and JS customization, and allows cool content tricks in connection with other Scroll apps (versioning, localization, conditional content). This is what I'm using for https://docs.emplifi.io/

Other than that, there Spacecraft by Seibert, however, this requires you to enable your space for anonymous access if you want to make pages publicly available.

thanks very much for this, a perfect solution which solves a lot more than the specific issue I was facing!

Many thanks!
