Fix for "cannot add user, all the user directories are read-only" issue.

Tim Fluhr April 18, 2019

Hi.

I'm trying to configure my confluence instance to my JIRA server which has many user accounts. The goal is to have users be able to login to confluence with the accounts already in JIRA.

I can't get this configured properly because the configuration form requires proxy information. I have no proxy server configured and am not using a proxy.  Can someone please help point me in the correct direction?

I've attached a screenshot of my config screen. The proxy username field keeps populating by itself and I can't remove it and save. jria.PNG

Hi @Tim Fluhr

You can allow other applications to connect to your JIRA Server for management of users and groups, and for authentication (verification of a user's login).

Please go through the below documentation,  I hope you will understand.
