Hi,
Apologies if this is a duplicate - I have tried searching but not found the answer. I'm a new adopter of Confluence too.
Use case: I have a number of pages in various hierarchies, all under the same Confluence space. Each page has the page properties macro and suitable labels.
e.g.:
Parent: Function1, with child pages 'Analysis' and 'Description'
Parent: Function2, with child pages 'Analysis' and 'Description'
etc...
I then create a separate page, lets call it 'Module1', with a Page Properties Report macro, making use of the labels, to create a select list of the 'Description' page for functions 1, 2 & 7. Crucially, the 'Description' pages are not children of 'Module1' page. The table lists everything I expect to see.
I want to export the 'Module1' page, and all pages listed in the Page Properties Report. I don't mind whether it's Word of PDF. When I try either of these options I only get an export of the 'Module1' page but none of the 'Description' pages listed pages appear in the export. Is there built in functionality that should allow me to do this?
Thanks in advance
Hi @Nick Sutch ,
With some built-in functionalities, you probably won't be able to achieve this. You can, via space export, export multiple pages (to PDF for example), but you would still have to select those pages manually.
You might want to check open suggestion related to exports and see if there are any feature requests related to your requirement.
Apart from that, I would probably suggest checking out Atlassian Marketplace for some potential solutions there.
Cheers,
Tobi
