Refering to this annoucement:
With the release of Confluence 5.9 we will be ending support for the following macros, known collectively as the 'View File' macros:
What will be the replacement of this much-used functionality? The new image previewer?
Note that in various use cases, the 'view file' macros still do a better job than the new viewer. For example, you can see the documents inline in the page, in readable size, without having to click anything to open it in a viewer.
Also, all existing pages would need to be migrated to get the view-file macro replaced by something else.
I believe this is not a good idea! Where can we vote against it?
