Email Notifications for tasks

In Confluence if I Tag someone @'User' with a task or I want them to see something for them to look at the email notification is being received.  I checked and made sure the email under the further configuration is set as well as user subscribed to emails.  What am I missing?

There are some options you may try:

• Check the global email configuration for your Confluence instance. Verify that the SMTP server settings are correct, and there are no issues with sending emails from the Confluence server.

• You may want to check the Further Configuration settings. Navigate to Confluence settings by selecting (Settings) in the Confluence navigation, and then choose Further Configuration. Verify that the email notifications are indeed enabled for your instance.

• Also, try tagging different users and using different content to see if the notifications work for them. This will help determine if the problem is specific to the tagged user or if it's a broader issue.
