Does Confluence (v 5.7) notify watchers via e-mail about new attachments?

Bartek Zukowski March 16, 2015

Hello,

In our older instance of Confluence (v 3.5.13) it is completely normal that a watcher of a page or space gets a notification if someone attaches an attachment to a page.

I've recently installed version 5.7 and watchers don't receive any notifications about new attachments. Is it normal? Is there a way to turn it on? Of course I have already properly configured SMTP server (tested and working). Other notifications (for example about page edits) are working fine. Only attachments seems off.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Regards,

Bartek
