Do Confluence Knowledge Base developers exist?

Hi everyone, the organization I work for uses both Confluence "Wiki" and SharePoint for KMS/CMS and Knowledge Base purposes. What we dont do very well is leverage the full capability of either. There are various reasons for this but one key missing component is having the internal expertise. We need someone who is an expert developer / administrator for both Confluence & SharePoint but who also has a very deep understanding of Knowledge Base & Knowledge + Content Management best practice and methodologies.

Do such people exist out there? I have searched our local job markets and cannot find anyone who seems to specialize in this area. Most dev's are working in other languages and/or dont have the KMS/CMS/KB expertise.

I guess what we are looking for is a Knowledge Base admin with developer capability, who can really help us get the most out of the tools we have available to us.

If you're not necessarily looking to hire someone, but would also be happy with consulting, you might want to look for local Atlassian Solution Partners. They should certainly be experts when it comes to Confluence, you just need to find one that has the necessary expertise when it comes to SharePoint as well.

You can also try searching for Confluence / SharePoint integrations on the Atlassian Marketplace. There you would for example find this app which is from Communardo. If you go to their vendor profile and scroll down you can see that they are also a Solution Partner, which means they would probably happily do Consulting for you.

Unfortunately they're from Germany, though. So I don't know if they would be the best choice for you. I'm sure there are also Solution Partners in your area that know their way around SharePoint. :)
