Is there a way to reference an external image from a web URL or UNC reference and have it displayed in a Confluence page (*not an attachment on the page*).

Any advices on UNC - I tried to follow the web example and it's not working. . .

Here's an example path from a Windows shared file system:

\\file005\share\pics\985608233_8a1dae5bf5.jpg

I tried:

!file://file005/share/pics/985608233_8a1dae5bf5.jpg!

Just got a broken image.
