I see a Discord for Jira app and a post about Discord for Trello, but has anyone made inroads towards a Discord for Confluence App?
Given Discord has an 8x community user base vs Slack I'd imagine that at least some of it would be willing to pay.
1. Discord has Over 150 million monthly active users as of 2023.
Revenue Model: Primarily through Nitro subscriptions and server boosts, not direct ads.
Community-Centric Growth: Discord focuses on building large, diverse communities, with millions of servers catering to niche interests.
2. Slack:
Users: Estimated 18 million daily active users as of 2023, with a heavy emphasis on paid business users.
Hello, I'm the author of the Discord for Jira application. I plan to create a corresponding Discord for Confluence app this year, although I haven’t received many customer requests for it so far. That’s why I haven’t released it yet. However, I still intend to do so, as it nicely complements some of the upcoming features for Discord for Jira.
It's been a long time... I'm happy to see you're still part of the ecosystem.
Indeed, as mentioned by @Marc - Devoteam, there might not be a market for this integration on Confluence, or the use case may not yet be valuable enough to warrant investment.

Hi Cyrille,
Indeed, this is a new account, somewhat hiding that I've been in the ecosystem since 2007! (I'm currently focusing on charities and non-profits). Nice to hear from you also.
Regards, Martin

If there is no app on the marketplace, no-one has seen value in this.
You could create it yourself and market it on the marketplace.
