Default Space Permissions only seems to include groups.
When I "restore defaults" on a space; it reverts to these groups (which is fine).
But all the users are lost except for the creator of the space.
We had setup (long ago) permissions for confluence plugins (see image). Are these no longer needed?
If they are; how do I setup these "individuals" in the default permissions
Hello @Jill Vieregge
As from https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/Default-Permissions-for-New-Group/qaq-p/2460533, it was stated that you would need to go through each space and manage the groups, the same goes for the users.
The users that you see like Async API, those are the ones who are made by the apps.
With that said, you would need to add a user by user.
Permissions for the apps are indeed needed since they are using the API in order to work with the spaces since they need read permissions.
wow, that is annoying. We need default user permissions then as well. I have 1000+ spaces

You can cut that time by using the API for adding new space permissions: https://developer.atlassian.com/cloud/confluence/rest/v1/api-group-space-permissions/#api-wiki-rest-api-space-spacekey-permission-post
