Hi!
I created a database in Confluence, and my teammates use it to track issues in our project.
There are multiple fields, but we haven’t found a way to navigate and fill in the different fields via keyboard. The only way to jump from one field to the next is by clicking with the mouse, and then you can edit the field.
It is very tedious to use the mouse just to choose the next field and write.
Is there a keyboard shortcut that I am missing?
Hi @Luis Malpica Arce ,
As Pavel said, this isn't currently supported in Databases.
However, I've had a quick chat with the support team and they've forwarded me the following feature suggestion: CONFCLOUD-79738: Support usage of Confluence's global shortcuts when focus is on Databases
Although it does not specifically state keyboard navigation for the database, some internal communication that involved devs and a few supervisors indicated that the focus here would be/is on database-related shortcuts.
That said, I would recommend voting on this suggestion and leaving a comment based on your request/requirements.
Cheers,
Tobi
Hi Luis,
Welcome to Atlassian Community!
Unfortunately, there isn't a direct keyboard shortcut to jump between different fields in a database within Confluence.
Viewing Keyboard Shortcuts:
Shift + ?
