Custom UI App - UseContentProperty

Hi there

Im building a Custom UI App in Confluence Cloud which uses the Custom UI Resolver etc.   All is working well.   However, I  can not get working the UI hook useContentProperty('my-property','default value').  

How do I get the useContentProperty to work with a Custom UI Resolver etc?   If this is not an option, then how do I save/load custom page content properties.   Im wanting to store custom data?
