Custom 'Create from template' Macro variables like @currentDate

Bristow March 7, 2016

I'm using the 'Create from template' Macro to create, as you would expect a new page based off a template!

I would like to used a custom variable like '@currentDate' but rather than the whole date I would like to have the current month like '@currentMonth'.

Is there a way I can define a customer variable or format the date?

I've had a good google, and couldn't find an answer for what I am looking for as I suspect the latter I can't do per the link below so that leaves me with a custom variable?

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Hi,

Our plugin the Page Tree Creator provides the variables you are looking for and is very easy to use. Also for your end users it is simple clicking a button, filling out the form and the page / page tree gets created.

Link to the documentation of the variables.
