I want to create links to undefined pages as our knowledge wiki is built out. I'm using the method described here:
https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-questions/how-to-create-a-link-to-new-page/qaq-p/1363256
I basically create the link and use the URL https://SITE_NAME.atlassian.net/wiki/pages/createpage.action?spaceKey=SPACEKEY
However, when I then click on the link I just get the spinning wait icon and the new page never comes up.
It appears that method has been superseded by this method:

Hi Zoltan,
Thanks for sharing this with the community! This will help out others in the future!
Though reading your responses, it looks like the previous method was just a workaround, that was patched on https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-67129. However, glad you were able to find the information yourself.
And included the link for others to find. I would recommend you accept your answer as the solution if you can to make it easier for others to find.
best,
Clark
