Creating Jira issues within confluence

Hello,

I am having issues trying to get the new Jira ID to appear in my confluence table, once I have created the issue within Confluence.

I am using the method where you highlight the text and select 'Create Issue'. From what I have read, it seems that the Jira ID and summary should populate the table automatically, but I have found that it just leaves the text.

I would appreciate any help with this.

Hi @Emily Bleything Can you confirm which macro are you using to create JIRA issue on your confluence page ? You will find "Create Jira Issue" link if you are using "Insert JIRA Issue/Filter" macro, using which you can create new issues directly in the table and it will also create a link to your JIRA issue.
