Create form and use the users' data as variable in accessing external API

Hi,

I am really new in Confluence.

So here is my problem, I have an objective to create two Confluence pages:

1. Page that contains a form to capture user's preferences.

2. Page that will access the data from external API using the parameters from user's data in the first page.

So the best scenario I want to achieve is when I completed the form in the first page and click submit button, it will take me to the second page which will display the output from external API.

My question is, is this scenario is possible in Confluence? if yes (which I really hope), where should I start to achieve this goal (any tutorials, or guidelines).

PS: I know that using Javascript code in HTML macro can be used to obtained the data from external API (I am still exploring this one), but I have no clue on how to take the input from the first page as the parameter in the second page.
