Confluence was automatically created that I didn't create.

Ethan March 24, 2024

I don't made Confluence among the products of our service, but it came up automatically. Can you tell me what caused this?

Also, I got an inactive email because I didn't write Confluence, so I want to delete this Confluence, but it says I can't remove this Confluence itself from either page. Where is this item hidden?

Hi @Ethan

You can deactivate an instance from https://admin.atlassian.com/

  1. Select your Organization (if relevant)
  2. Select Billing on the top navigation bar
  3. Select Manage next to Confluence
  4. Select the breadcrumbs (...) in the top right, then select Cancel subscription

This deactivates this product instance (including Free ones). It will then be deleted in 60 days, after the reactivation period.

It also says I can't delete the default group. I've never set the default group and I don't want to disable or write Confluence itself. Does anyone know any tips on this?
