Confluence tables keep adjusting automatically

I have gone through my tables and fixed width size and published page.  When I next go to edit the page, the tables readjust.

Is there a way to either:

  1. Set a column's width and prevent the page from adjusting it when publishing
  2. Revert to the old editor until this functionality is replaced

Hi Donna, I took a quick look through Atlassian's Jira site (jira.atlassian.com) and found this issue: CONFCLOUD-75324

Take a look at it and if it sounds like your issue, feel free to vote for and watch it for future updates.

Thanks for your help Dan. Unfortunately, I am still having problems after reviewing the table col info.

When I edit, resize the columns in my tables and then save/update/publish the page, all looks great. However, if I edit the page again, all the tables then readjust columns automatically which means I have to address each individual table again and resize each column.  This page had been updated to the new format - wondering if this is why the page has gone skewy. I may need to go back to the version with legacy editor.

@Donna Playford You might want to check this page for info about this issue, especially recent comments on why the tables look different in view and edit modes: https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/Resize-Confluence-tables-to-any-width/ba-p/2483925
