Confluence server vs cloud features

Question

Is there a nice summary somewhere of what features you do/don't get with the server and the cloud versions of Confluence? It's cumbersome to page through the cloud documentation for each piece.

I'd start by reading the Cloud stuff.

Everything you can do on Cloud, you can do on Server.  The differences are

* You need to support the infrastructure underneath the service
* You need to do system administration for yourself (making sure it's running, adding plugins, backups, upgrades etc)
* Server will always be a little way behind Cloud in terms of version.  Cloud functions will make it to server, but not immediately on release
* You can add whatever functions you want to your Server by way of plugins.  (Cloud has a limited and fixed set of plugins you can add, plus a Connect framework which lets you install some stuff, but it does not support the plugins that reach into the core of the product to do really clever stuff)
