We have a problem with our search functionality on our Confluence environment. Some of the articles can't be found, even when searching for the exact article title.
We figured that after editing and saving the article (without actually making any changes), the article will be able to be found again through the search bar.
Seems like the index of all articles got damaged. We have a lot of articles, so going through all of them and edit/save them again is not a realistic solution.
Is there any way to fix the index? Some of the Confluence documentation refer to a 'rebuild index' option on the General Configuration admin page, but we don't see this option.
Hi @Peter Koenen ,
You need to contact Atlassian support to request a reindex. This often solves the problem you describe.
