Confluence creating Pages in Spanish...why?

I'm just learning Confluence and I created a test project. The entire project is in English except for the default pages which are in Spanish (see below). Is this expected as part of the free version? How can I change this? I've gone into the settings->Language and verifies that the default language is set to English(US).

Thanks for any help.

Based on what I could find, if you already set the default language  and also set your profile language to English,  Confluence is being translated is due to the browser, via automatic language detection.

No...still did not work...tried multiple browsers (Chrome, Edge, Firefox) came up in Spanish in all 3.
