Confluence: Exporting Spaces with attachments

Trying to migrate data from Confluence to Sharepoint online. Using the export option, I can either export as html, PDF or xml. PDF is out of the question since it won't include attachments, but when I export as either html or xml, the attachments don't seem to be able to be opened correctly. 

For example, a file may have 2 attachments in Confluence but when exported, those two attachments turn into 10 separate attachments, all in either excel or word files. 

Does anyone have any similar issues? Or any solutions to how to fix this? Thank you in advanced - CS
