Confluence Database Unable to Use Specified Page Template

EDIT 121824:

After checking in a day or two later, I noticed that anything that's in the main editing section does get applied (e.g., elements like Table of Contents, any text/bullet points, etc.). Labels that are specified in the template however still don't get applied.

OP:

Hello all,

I added the Page link field in a Confluence Database, with the following settings:

  • Page creation checked
  • Page template specified (custom-made template; has labels)

However, when adding an entry, I was able to see a new page created in the desired location, but it is not based on the specified template. Am I missing something here? Does my custom template need to have specific fields/items to be applied correctly?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hey! After waiting for a while (I checked back in the next day I believe) I noticed that parts of my template do get applied. Specifically, anything that's in the main editing section (e.g., elements like Table of Contents, any bullet points and text, etc.) will be used. However, labels specified in the template currently do not get applied.

Hopefully all components get used eventually!
