Communal as default filter for Spaces

Hi all,
Is there a way to make it so that the Space filter is set to Communal per default? I need for my coworkers to be able to see the list of spaces without all the personal spaces. I have already turned off the creation of personal spaces for when new users are created.

Personal spaces should only be visible to the user who's space that is or administrators by default.  Did you change permissions on personal spaces so they show for everyone?
