Combine content of child pages in parent

I have imported a Word document with content split on level 2 headers.

Some of these are too fine grained, so now I would like to combine the content of all child pages into some of the parent pages and remove the child pages.

Copy/paste doen't seem to work (pictures are not copied).

Confluence 5.8.4, evaluation.

you can try moving the children

Copy/paste does work (starting from edit child page). Not feasable for large documents.
