Can you tell us what search ranking is applied to Confluence
I've only found documentation for the server version. Can you tell us what is applied to the cloud version?
for sample : https://confluence.atlassian.com/doc/ranking-of-search-results-1188406620.html
Also, is it possible to collect/analyse the terms used by users to carry out their searches?
Is there a link for Confluence Cloud?
THe URL above goes to a page for Data Center.
Clicking the tab for Cloud takes me to a generic setup page without info on search ranking.

That was my original question. Thanks for clarifying.
But still no answer...

The original question refers to "search ticking". Is that a typo?
Did you mean "search ranking" or "ranking of search results"?

Can't anyone at Atlassian answer?
I've created a support ticket, hoping that someone from the Atlassian team can answer this question.

The internal Confluence team confirmed that the document did not exist in the Cloud, as the same logic applies in the DC/Cloud.

Xavier Delligne - did the internal Confluence team give you a URL to a document that answers the question?

Hi Cordlant_
Here is my initial question from a ticket I make at Atlassian Support :
Can you tell us what search ranking is applied to Confluence through Jira Service Management client portal?

This is the version for the "server" version confluence.atlassian.com/doc/ranking-of-search-results-1188406620.html
We need the same for the "cloud" version, please.
And the full answer given by an agent from Atlassian Support :
Hi Xavier,
I reached out internally to the Confluence team, who confirmed the document doesn't exist in Cloud because the same logic applies in both DC/Cloud as mentioned here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/confkb/how-do-i-understand-the-ranking-of-confluence-s-search-results-785614686.html
There are also some observations like it's not possible to pin a page to the top or manually configure the weight/ranking of Pages returned in a Confluence Search result; there is a Feature Request to bring in this functionality: Ability to adjust ranking of search results is required https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-15619 and https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONFCLOUD-19918
As for JSM, the same search logic applies, and we also have a feature request to customize the results https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JSDCLOUD-2267
Let me know if you have any other questions or concerns.
Best Regards,
(…)
