Can't correct install on 32-bit Windows

Sergey Evdokimov July 28, 2014

I have tried to install Confluence versions 5.4.3, 5.5.3 on clear OS Win XP Professional and Win 2008 Server. In all cases installation is complete successful, but confluene pages have incorrect view (attached files *.pdf) in browsers (IE9, Firefox 30.0). And i have attached a logfile.

(I have correctly working Confluence 5.4.3 on Win 8 x64).

I created bug https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/CONF-34404<br< a="">>with attached files

but i have answer:

Hi Sergey!

Have you check what JAVA version are you using? do note that you should adhere to the supported platform base on Confluence version - https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DOC/Supported+Platforms

Do note that the latest JAVA version 1.8 is currently unsupported.

Hello Sergey.

Did you open a ticket in support.atlassian.com? That is the right place for this kind of request.

Regarding the problem, note that Windows XP is no longer supported by Microsoft so I do not recommend you to use it.

The problem you are facing could be cause by plugins having problems to start. Have you tried clearing your plugin cache?
