Can page statuses be used along with visibility permissions?

I would like to use page statuses (as described here) in concert with permissions.  As a specific example, I would like anonymous users to only be able to see pages of certain statuses (e.g. status "draft" can only be seen by internal users but status "approved" can be viewed by anonymous users).

Is this currently achievable?

@Mathew Imregi There is no way to do that at this time.  They are independent of each other.  There are some apps that would allow for this through page workflow status.  Comala document management or document control I think provides this functionality.
