I searched around for a forum topic about this so hopefully I didn't miss an existing thread.
I'm trying to determine if there is a way to have Jira autocomplete/autosuggest terms using "fuzzy" search functionality. For example, if I had two Labels "Outsource_3D" and "Concept_Outsource", and I started typing "Outsource" in the following query, it would suggest both results.
Project = example AND Labels in (Outsource
Currently, the autocomplete behavior will only suggest exact matches of labels that begin with "Outsource" even if there were labels with the exact text "Outsource" elsewhere in the label.
EDIT: I found something similar for Project Key and Issue Key fuzzy search, but not other fields. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-61197
@Daniel Rositano It looks like what you are looking for is related to Jira. Label search has to be an exact match. There is currently not a fuzzy search option for labels. The closet request for something similar is this feature request for a wildcard search. https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRACLOUD-23038 According to the feature request this does not look like it will be implemented anytime soon.
Alright, thanks for your help! That's too bad. I'll take a look and add my vote
