We are using confluence as a project tracker for go-to-market activities where employees will have several different projects(pages) they will be working out of each with different tasks assigned to them. I have two questions:
1. Is there a way to generate a report or go somewhere to see every time I've been assigned a task? So that I can see everything across confluence assigned to me
2. Is there more than one way to assign someone a task? It appears you can only use the task check mark box?
Welcome to the community.
You can also mention people on a task, they will then get a notification. And on their Confluence home, they will see task assigned to them.
For your first question, the "Task Report" macro should allow you to see all tasks assigned to you in any or all spaces.
I believe on your second question you are correct, you need to use the task check box to assign a task.
