When a page is created and a Word document imported, a duplicate "Untitled Draft" is created. The duplicate must then be deleted.

Steps to recreate:

@Scott Vallery

Can confirm, same issue on my Confluence today.

Tip: Opening MS Word doc in Google Docs and Copy/Pasting it to a blank Confluence page results in a much better better looking document on almost every occasion then importing it.

Hi @Scott Vallery welcome to the community.  I can recreate the behavior you are experiencing. You can't import a Word Document as a page until you have created a page, but importing that word document creates a new page.  I took a look on Atlassian's Jira Site and didn't find an existing issue.

I may be misunderstanding how this functionality works, it may be worth having your System Administrator (or if that's you?)  contact Atlassian Support and see if we're not using the expected workflow for this functionality.

If a bug is created, could you please post that number here so I can vote for it as well?

Hope that helps.
