Does anyone know how to setup confluence so that it will dynamically and automatically create a roadmap from a backlog in JIRA whereby the roadmap will dynamically pull EPICS to create swim-lanes and then populate the roadmap from the JIRA backlog into the appropriate swimlanes?

By default, not to that level of specificity.

There are a few roadmap options in Confluence:

  • Roadmap Planner: Create a simple roadmap in Confluence (manually)
  • Jira Roadmap: Embed an interactive Jira roadmap into your page based on Jira instance, project and board. This is reflective of the roadmap feature available on Jira boards, and needs to have been enabled from the Board's settings to work in Confluence.
  • Advanced Roadmaps for Jira plan: If you have Jira Premium, embed an Advanced Roadmaps plan into a page for others to view
