Auto-Fill in Creation User and Date when creating a page out of a user-defined template

When creating a page out of a user defined template, I would like to have certain things like

• creation user
• creation date
• parent page
• ...

auto filled in. How do I insert these things into the template? Template variables do not cover this requirement as the user using the template would need to specify the variable value when creating a new page out of the template.

Currently, those variables able to auto fill some information such as current date (in the creation date for example), and the user/author/creator, etc, would not be possible as those variables commonly seen in the meeting notes template for example, are not available for use in the user created templates.

For that behavior we have the following feature requests:

• Allow for access to common variables in Blueprints templates 
• Copying a variable from standard template is not working on Custom template 

Hope this helps at least in terms of clarification, as you don't see any options in the current variables to allow you to create a template with the desired variables mentioned.
