Attachments using ConfiForms

Scott Federman October 13, 2022

Hey all,

I am trying to use ConfiForms IFTTT macro to upload attachments to a jira ticket. The attachments only needs to be added upon Jira ticket creation. How would i go about doing this? Im interested in creating Data Analysis (DA) Stories.

Hi @Scott Federman

Welcome to this community

To upload an attachment to Jira issue from ConfiForms form you will need to have a file/attachment field on your ConfiForms Form (Definition) and then a ConfiForms Field macro field field name parameter set to the "file/attachment" field should be dropped inside the IFTTT macro body that creates a Jira ticket for you

as in the screenshot, where "mf" is the name of the "file/attachment" field (definition) configured in the form

Thank you @Alex Medved _ConfiForms_ . I however am not seeing a specific file attachment field as an option in my macros.

All fields are configured through one single macro and that is called ConfiForms Field Definition

It offers various field types to select from, including the "File/Attachment"
