First time trying the Atlassian Companion app. I've installed the latest version, 1.4.4. After clicking "Edit" on the Confluence page, it tells me it's launching the Companion app, but nothing happens.
Checking the logs, I see the following:
error: adc:ServerFacade 2023-04-26T07:14:21.895Z Could not get temp link information:
error: adc:ServerFacade 2023-04-26T07:14:21.895Z ResponseBodyOverflowError: Overflow of response body, max: 131072, received: 199392

[sarcasm] The file I'm trying to edit is a whopping 70kb, so I'm hoping that is not an issue.. [/sarcasm]
Hi @Master-Guy and welcome,
Companion App is not supported for Confluence Cloud. Please take a look to the following article https://community.atlassian.com/t5/Confluence-articles/Removing-the-Companion-app-from-Confluence-Cloud/ba-p/1884657
Fabio
Thank you for the reply.
If it has been removed, then why does it still attempt to launch it? I might be wrong in the hosted location (it's not my own environment), but clicking the EDIT link attempts to launch the Companion App..
If it was removed in 2021, I would expect either the link to be removed by now, or the action behind the link to be different..
